Gratitude (Palindrome, English)

The breeze refreshing the skin
The breath nourishing the body
The space containing the mind
The beauty reflected into infinity
The joy being its own grace
The death as surrender
The life which is who I am

Gratitude
Glory to You
Beauty in Self
Silent vastness
Light without reflection
Love with thousand fruits
Countless names of the nameless

Countless names of the nameless
Love with thousand fruits
Light without reflection
Silent vastness
Beauty in Self
Glory to You
Gratitude

The life which is who I am
The death as surrender
The joy being its own grace
The beauty reflected into infinity
The space containing the mind
The breath nourishing the body
The breeze refreshing the skin

    Very pleasing thoughts ..

Thanks so much for sharing the English version of your poem! I'm becoming more familiar with that form and beginning to appreciate it but more importantly are the gratitude that you've expressed within each line and how easy it is to take those things for granted. Your awareness is just beautiful and refreshing. Thanks for the mantra! joy

      twin

thank you, joy, for your comment and kind support. your user name is also a call for gratitude. joy and gratitude are two twin sisters, so close that it's impossible to separate them.

    how beautiful ...
your poem strikes me through its pureness and simplicity ... like one of the other participants in this contest, you have absolutely surprised me through the nakedness of your words ... which for me, being a very emotional and dreamy person in every way, has the power to bring me right back with my feet onto the earth ... there is much beauty in simplicity and a mind that is free from complicated thougths ...
I still love and enjoy colorful and emotional poetry, but have now learned to receive the blessings through styles like yours that seemed so alien to me before ...
plus I love to be surprised - and your poem surprised me ...
    thank you ...

    maa
