Who I am

I don't think like most
Im one of the lost breed
One that would still give a pleasant toast

I'm not liked by my grade
But the people who give me a chance
Know that their friendship will not go unpaid

To me music is a passion
The band is like second family
And come on,you know that those uniforms are in fashion

Yes I may be young
But please make no mistake
Only with the older crowd do I partake

I make all A's in school
People may call me a geek now
But I will be eating steak while they eat gruel

Yes I am very heavy, most could not give me a shove
But as I like to say
All the more to love

Now by no means is this my best work
But I hate to talk about myself
To me if you are a braggart you are just a big jerk

Author notes

Hey.I am 13 ( so I am young as metioned in the poem) but if you talk to me you would know I am way more mature than my age and I really think that age is only a number. I would like to be a ...hmmmmm..sister or neice? lol

Firstly I want to thank you for entering.....

A wonderful written poem.... Its sad that people judge us by what we look like..... but gravity takes that away in time..... It's whats on the inside that counts, and you have clearly expressed that...

Music is a wonderful escape from reality.....
Please put in author notes which family member you would like

    goodluck
