How can someone tell you it's not ment to be
If you love someone you'll do anything to make them see
Age makes a difference is what they say
It wont work
Your setting yourself up for heartbreak
But it's your life
You want to live it and see
If all comes down to it you'll pay the price
Just for one more day by his side
Even if thier right and all fails
It will make you stronger
Help you when your life turns to hell
Be another page to write in your book of life
Part of your past that will help you through the rest
It will make you stronger in the future
So when do you get to live your life
How long can they protect you from harm
Pain is life and we have to live it
And learn
We'll never find out who we are
Untill they just let it be

This is full of anguish. Seems like you're really struggling with all of this lately. 8 years is a lot, and it can be too hard sometimes, but if you're willing to fight, then give it a try. Good job here on the poem

thanks lol we are fighting and have been for the last year and a 1/2 now so i belive if we can make it that far we can make it many more....
