My Guardian

She lowers her soft hand

To wipe away my tears

I feel her touch on my cheek

Away goes my fears

My head is on her wings

Soft as goose down

She lifts up my chin

And asks me "why the frown"

I tell her all my worries

She whispers "its ok"

"Remember I'm always with you"

"Just bow your head and pray"

She says "its time for me to go"

"I must leave you now my child"

She gave me a light kiss on the cheek

And then took off with a smile

Morning has come

Time to awake

A fresh new day

Ready for me to overtake

Aww this had lovely rhyme and imagery! I loved your use of language. Did you mean 'my guardian' in the title? Perhaps you should put some quotes round the angel's speech? Keep writing, xxxxxxxxxxxx

    ^.^

i love how every other line rhymes. it kept my interest the whole poem. I only have 3 things to say...

    1) i loved it so much

    2) thank you for entering my contest and good luck

and 3) just a little note child rhymes with smiled so i have a little thing that you might want to use to keep the poem interesting:

"She says its time for me to go
I must leave you now my child
She gave me a light kiss on the cheek
And then took off and smiled"

You don't have to use it.it's just an option. and thank you again for entering my contest and lotsa luck in my contest.
