Alive with sounds loud
And sounds silent
At the edge of human hearing
But this is not all there is
As stone heats it expands
Grows creaks and groans
Listen with all your attention
Listen with all your will
Be silent and listen
Become one with stone
Step out of your conscious mind
With its doubts and disapprovals
With its desire to place everything
Into neat little boxes
Step into your darkest recesses
Shine a light and open
The door to freedom
Allow your imagination to run free
Believe in fairies again
As you did as a child
See through those childlike experiences
Before you where weighed down
By responsibilities by age
Search within your heart
Allow yourself
Dare yourself
To be free

Please be honest, whilst stroking my ego is nice it does not help me grow as a writer. If you have any constructive criticism or positive suggestions on how to improve my work please let me know.
