    There is a lot of scope for interpretation here, but overall it seems hopeful - the stars, even in dreams, are bright points of light.

    The silent footsteps of hope? Actually I guess it is anything that is very important to someone...anything that he/she longs for.

    Much more simply it could simply be the approach of sleep...more complex, it could be what those dreams then symbolize which I guess leads me back to my first thought, lol.

    Words are everything and here, examples like "silent" and "rickety" are worth their weight in meaning.

    You know, snippets are most of the time the best pieces to read. They're short, don't contain filler words and come to the point straightaway... Just like this one

    There's something about this cinquain that will keep on lingering for some time...
