    thank you for entering this. Sometimes it only takes a few words to write an entire story and that is exactly what you did. It was as if I could imagine that kid and the "empty" look. So many today seem to have that and I often wonder what exactly it is/was that has taken "life" out of their eyes. Best wishes in this contest,
