You're so special Mr. President.
Not special in the "I value you" way.
Special in the "I rode the short bus" way.
Have you ever really paid attention
to the things the media hears you say?
They report it to us
and we're supposed to trust
an imbecile like you to run our nation
when you should really be a psych ward patient?
First things first
this isn't the worst
Have you grasped the english language yet?
Is your ignorance symbolized by beads of sweat
dripping from your perspiring pink forehead.
You open your mouth and your staff is filled with dread.
My advice is to begin with lessons on the usage
of the verbs is and are.
When you say "Families is where our nation finds hope"
you make it really difficult for me to cope
with your imbecilic ramblings
so loud I can almost hear your brain scrambling.
Since when do wings take dream?
You have mastered a language all your own it would seem.
Last I knew wings took flight.
Study and read and try harder to get it right.
If you know how hard it is for me to
"put food on my family" each day,
imagine how hard it is for me
to digest the stupid ass things you say.
You've heard "rumors on the internets that
there's going to be a draft"?
I really want to break the person who
gave you a diploma in half.
Beat them senseless for committing this atrocity.
You're damn right I'm filled with animocity.
By the way, there's just one single internet.
The people that voted you should be plagued with regret.
I'm so relieved and you've really calmed me
now that you've let us all know publicly
that "the human being and the fish
can coexist peacefully".
I've always been so worried that a band
of terroristic large mouth bass would overtake our land.
Not to mention those dreadfully dangerous catfish,
you know a new world order is their main wish.
Don't get me wrong Mr. President.
I think you're a "heck of a" stand up guy.
I just really need to understand why
You speak on matters of education,
when you need to be praying for
your own mental capability resurrection.
"Rarely is the question asked
is our children learning?"
You have this knack for leaving me yearning
to bitch slap the stupidity out of you
for the assanine things you say and do.
I know "your the decider and you decide what is best".
Just quit trying to sound intelligent, give it a rest.
We all know you're stupid, your cover is blown.
Just close your mouth and leave well enough alone.

I absolutely love this. I am extremely anti-bush, and I have many many many many many reasons that I won't get into on your little comment space here, but I will tell you that you have a great write here....I loved it from the first line, to the very last. Good luck in the contest, and lets hope the host/hostess isn't Pro-Bush.....lol

hahah...this sounds familiar!
Love it! I like how you didn't make it about being angry, but more or less, irritated and annoyed with his 'presence'. He's like that summer fly, that you just can't whack, and when you do, it still flies around w/one wing.

Um as a former psych ward patient i find your first stanza offensive to those of us who have spent time there - the psych ward is too fucking good for bush!!!
-
Precise rhythms
I always love the way you write. Content aside, this piece flows beautifully. Content in view: the irregularities in lines and stanzas echo your sentiments. Great work.

Likeness fo Bush
Your certainly wrote my thoughts about him except you didn't include he is a "Gangsta". (kidding)I don't talk a whole lot about politics but this piece represents a good likeness of him.

Insightful
you seem to truley believe what you've written... but to be honest the first stanza made me want to quit reading..when you said "Have you ever really paid attention
to the things the media hears you say?
They report it to us
and we're supposed to trust
an imbecile like you to run our nation" specifically when you put in the part about media...news is news but it's not always true..not always the full story...not always something you should believe or agree with...it reminds me of the quote "can you think for yourself or are you going to let the media think for you" im not saying you don't have a few good points..but it's where your getting your info. that makes me curious...and im not saying im the biggest fan of bush either, cause i wasn't to happy when my dad and good friend were send over to iraq, but i don't find the need to bash the president. after all...americans as a whole are the ones who re-elected him.....but as a written piece of work..this was nice...you put a lot of work into it i can see, and you have very interesting opinions

*gives a standing ovation*
well your anger certainly comes through- and that sense of frustration that i feel everytime that moron says something ridiculous and you realise this is the guy in charge of one of the most powerful countries in the world (i'm from England btw but its still terrifying to think of the position hes in)
personally i think Bush should be told hes allowed a third term, and shut up in a truman show-style fake whitehouse so that we can laugh at him but keep him away from any big decisions or scary things like that.
great write, satrical and sharp

You watch John Stewart don't you? This poem really reminds me of that show. It was funny and yet interesting all at the same time. I really enjoyed this. I like the line: You open your mouth and your staff is filled with dread. And also:I'm so relieved and you've really calmed me
now that you've let us all know publicly
that "the human being and the fish
can coexist peacefully". I hadn't heard that one! Great job on this really, I enjoyed it fully.

Brilliant piece. Very tragic how truthful and insightful it really is, and ironically humorous in a heartbreaking sort of way…Excellent rendition, nothing is overlooked. I can really feel the emotion expressed, and truly relate to it. The bitterness and tumult is keen and no way slanted. It is very direct and refreshing, truly exposing the truth of things, particularly the unfavorable, fumbling mind of our blundering president, sadly, and his outrageously foolish antics. Every line is superb, the flow of it is splendid. The passion is acute, and the intrepidness of the words is rejuvenating. Nicely done!
