The day that you were born
I know the Angels cried,
To part with such a precious gift
Sent down,
Away from the Heavenly flight.
The joy was doubled
As I joined you in this world,
And from that moment, to this day
We've stood by each other,
Never wavering away.
I was blessed so much
The day I was born,
For I always have someone
To share times that are forlorn,
I have someone to share
Day after day with,
To share secrets, and dreams
I wasn't afraid to part with.
I was blessed with a twin sister
And also a friend,
Who willingly shares laughs
Together with tears,
I hope that no matter what
And no matter where we are,
We'll always remember
How blessed we truly are.
