The place where time is so important, and yet its often unseen
Where style can range from slacks to jeans, and anywhere between
In the place where the statue lady claims her own island, she’s smaller than most declare
Compared to some of the other towering, and overpowering structures that reside there
In a place that’s always in a state of haste
Where Time is squared and Madison too
Where everything moves in a faster pace
And "NO STANDING" signs are in plain view
In a place that’ll surely demand you to walk
Where owning a car is so outrageous
Where all the residents begin to talk
With an accent that’s so contagious
Where lights make the night as bright as the day
The pathways are littered with curls
Where atop the highest point, as high as the clouds
You may look out over the world
Where burgers and fries are eight ninety-nine
But yet you’re enticed to but it
Where everything’s huge, yet hard to find
A city that’s built for a giant
Please tell me what you think

New York was hella fun and hella busy. I loved it. Great poem and I definatley agree that it is a giant city. The city was bright at night like you mentioned. I'm not even gonna get started on the accents cause people came from all over.

Hey this is great, I heard about you all's performance and I saw your appearance on 106 and park. I think I saw you guys at Times Square too. But I go to Juliard up hurr and I have to say, This is absolutely true. Owning a car is pretty much a nonexistent option depending on what part of the NY you live in.
