Waiting For Someone To Close The Whole In My Heart

I stay outside,
watching the sun go down,
and the moon come up.
I watch the stars twinkle in the distance,
and I wonder what happened?
I loved you,
you loved me.
We were always together,
so much in love.
Then one day,
you broke my heart.
You left me,
swinging your arm around another girls shoulders.
That makes me wonder,
how long have you been keeping this secret?
How long have you been secretly with her?
You were on the car on my race track,
but now you're never going to ride it,
again.
I cry out in pain,
missing the old times.
Missing you and me,
missing us.
But their is no us,
not anymore.
I'm numb from the cold,
from the cold in my heart.

shattered to pieces.

ripped in half.
You put a whole in my heart,
and it burns when the wind comes through.
I cry out for someone,
anyone.
I'm so alone.
I can't take this pain,
this misery.
So,
I'll wait.
For someone to come.

Searching for someone to love me,
to hold me,
to tell me everything is alright.
And when that person comes,
