The sun rises
I start to smile
Everything's joyful
There's no pain
Something always happens
It hurts people, makes them sad
But to me... the sun sets
and I continue to smile

I dunno... quite weird.
the meaning is that I - or any person - am optimistic all day no matter what...

I like this, it is optimistic & I love optimisticness! (I may have just made that word up, idk.). Happiness is GREAT!!

Optimism is a wonderful thing, and I hoped someone would catch on that short, sweet, and really upbeat was supposed to be of optimistic thoughts, but I have unfortunately received some down in the dumps poems.
This was a great poem.
