I lie here
At the bottom of the pond
I hear frogs above,
Croaking my name
But I have no reason to swim
To the surface

I would be going back to
Deceit
Loneliness
Heartache
So, no, I will not return to
The frogs
Instead, I’ll stay here
At the bottom of the pond
Where it’s peaceful
Serene
Quiet
