This evening worn and weary dry
I was told that my life was to close
And till the twenty-fourth hour
I were to lie.
For it has come as a shock to I
I looked around and thought about my life.
As I was only a decade and six years,
I looked to the clock with a sigh.
I needed to see him
And tell him these happenings
And pray that we would together me once
Before I would go while they sang me a hymn.
I boarded the plane to his fair country
And looked at the piece of paper to which I had written his home
To that, I watched as I told him,
With tears on his lips he told me, "I shall never forget thee."
I caressed his cheek and kissed his lips
And promised that we would once meet again
That neither sail nor ship will ever keep us apart
And on the night which he shall end, together we will be brought, under an eclipse.
We said our good-byes and hugged at last
And I prayed that my untimely death would be one of good fortune.
We parted ways with goodbye waves
And quickly went on my way, to await my last cast.
Author notes
Meh... not my best poem, but I tried. Tell me what you think and what you believe I could change for the better.

That's... so sad. It sounds painful. It's very nicely done though. I liked it.

Sweetheart, your comment means so much to me. Sometime really tells me that this is just the beginning of the bad. And I do hope it gets better... it just doesn't look that way right now.
