When you are near
I feel the love that you bring
But when I look into your eyes
I see the sorrow that was left behind
In some ways I feel I am responsible
In others I know it wasn’t something I couldn’t control
You are dear to me
I love you with all my heart
Please don’t let what happened between us tear us apart
I wish you could talk to me
Treat me like a friend that you trust
Or just let me know you don’t feel like talking to me
What have I done for you not to trust me
I wish I could prove myself worthy
You are my best friend
And probably be the closest one I will ever have
But I feel badly that you cant express yourself to me
How can I be a good friend if you wont let me in
I know it must be scary but please give me a chance
I am here for you until you don’t want me here anymore.
