Hummingbird - Messenger Of Joy (Metered Mirror-Rhyme)

Missing image

Dear Sister, please listen to Hummingbird’s song
For she likes to send you her medicine’s gift
She told me that to the Fifth World you belong
Of Spirit you’re made and to Spirit you’ll shift

Pure Joy is your song that you’ll sing to the world
Sweet nectar-filled words shall now flow from your lips
Within your heart’s cave waves of bliss get unfurled
The honey of gentleness from your soul drips

Duality’s conflict will be overcome
While Oneness embraces all hearts that you meet
The thoughts that imprison will soon be undone
Reality’s Light shall confusion defeat

Your mission is Joy and your task is to show
This Joy without boundaries dwelling within
All hearts shall rejoice in the Love you bestow
Serenity, peace and contentment to win

      thank you, walking shadow ...
hummingbird is not exactly an official spirit-guide of mine, but this is the card I got when I consulted my medicine cards for tender wolf ... I don't know if she has read the poem, but I know that the message will have arrived to her in spirit ...
thank you again for this contest,

      maa

    Very sweet!

You have done it again, a great mirror-rhyme with a sweet and happy topic. This sounds more like anapestic meter again, the way the lines all end with a solid thump, but since they are all 11 syllables, we call it "headless".
Hummingbirds are wonderful little flyers, I'm always pleased when I see them. Good luck!

you have seen REAL hummingbirds ? I am so jealous ... today I said to my hubby, that I would be able to move to a place where hummingbirds live, just for the sake of the hummingbirds ... and he replied : "yes, you would certainly be able to do so ... and when people would ask you why I moved, if it was because of a new job, a new husband or else, I would reply with a smile : "I moved because I wanted to live next to hummingbirds !"

thank you so much about the info concerning meter ... I was not sure if it would be dactyl or anapest, but now I can rename it correctly ... you're so precious !

      thank you, theresa ...
I asked my medicine cards about a message for tender wolf, and this is the card that came up for her ... I smiled when I saw the hummingbird, I have never drawn this card before for myself ... so I was delighted to make its acquaintance in this way ...
