"I can do hate,
& envy is even better,
And lets just say,
I rock at pain"
White hot tendrils spiral,
Making their way up towards,
The eyes that burn forcefully,
And the coals spit in disgust.
Don't try to disguise,
What the lies are hiding,
Get out of here right now,
Before something nasty happens.
My eyes are glowering emeralds,
With fired up envy and loathing,
Watching her and you smile,
I'm nauseated and my stomach turns.
Why do you have no room left,
To hold me in your arms anymore
Why are you turning to them not me,
I could be what you need.
And my heart stings,
I don't quite understand,
Why would you leave me like this?
Still you appear to hurt me.
But now I'll fight back,
You never really knew me,
And now you should tread careful,
I'm not weak anymore.
You don't want to try,
Don't you dare push me,
I will flutter my eyelids,
And in a breath you will be gone.
Author notes
Um well. Yeah. Not particularly about anything. Thanks to the quote I'm not quite anonymous.

cool
I like it, just as you suggest in your quote
and yes it did give you away lol
but also the style
its kind of different for you... its like more beauty of what you are expressing rather than your usual style which is more describing the emotion in rawness... iunno... its good though
Good luck

It's a lot like some of my older stuff. But perhaps it's because this one doesn't have raw emotions behind it and many of my poems do. That could be the reason, no? Well I'm glad you liked lol.
