new love
blossoming fresh
as the crisp morning air
like perennial gardens bathed
in the long awaited coming of spring
petals of promise awaken
readily embraced in
the arms of a
new love

I really do think this is superb...I popped in to see it once before, and had no little strange little horned smiling things to give...

Your so sweet. Your comments are better than strange horny things any day. Wait... Let me rethink that.

What a fantastic piece, you have described the beginnings of a loving relationship perfectly here. So serene and wonderfully written. Loved this!

This is a wonderful rictameter you have penned for the contest. It is filled with beautiful imagery of love that touches all the senses. Thank you for entering and best wishes in the contest.

I love form poetry and you have done the rictameter justice! The words flow so nicely off my tongue. My fav line would be line three, because when I first step outside there is nothing like that first shock of fresh air to arouse your senses and fill your lungs like I hadn't been really breathing all night. And that is how new love should feel, like wow I can finally breathe again! Good luck in the contest!
