This is egg,
more petrified than alone,
without a frame to fear her pillow
of abandoned feather in stillborn memory,
as face to sleep without a mother,
too far from song
to nurture Nature,
as sand has shifted wind
to wash in nest of grain,
this silicon valley,
where future
forms as fire without tree
in offered limb of respite risen,
and I have come to find in stone
this history of my weaker season.
To be alone is urge to push
and give the earth a new prospective
in snow white children of words assembled,
for in my verse,
I find my craving
to flow as Love without cliché
and find a smile worth crying over.
So blow in swirl of sandstone etching
soul to sliver
as desert brainstorm,
creating Sphinx without a body
to tear in swilling eyes, my shelter,
as letter leaves in wilder shadow,
a wave to wake my next mirage.

What lace your letters weave in shadow, that place of where incorporeality where life's dream passes o'er us. It is the chisel, and we the clay, for what is thought without manifestation to love?
