He's always ready for some type of game
head games, physical games-let him play
he'll beg you until you conform
and I can't help but give in
almost every time.
Daring to go beyond what's been challenged
beyond what's even expected
just so he can prove that he can
to impress someone, anyone
even if it's only himself.
He'll revel a bit, not too long
and then he's on to something else in a flash
the A.D.D. kicking in, dragging him elsewhere
it's just his personality.
A playful little boy living and growing
inside this 'six-two, two hundred pound' energetic mass
skating and jumping off of buildings and stairs
risking his life, daring to go
so full of life and innocence
while at the same time,
his flower inside of him is fading
the color is draining
and the innocence has been taken.
Will this playful little boy live on
or will he maybe wake up and realize
that life can't go this way forever
he'll have to grow up-today could be the day
but is it?

About my boyfriend who... is a doof and I don't understand him sometimes, or well, his choices, but like I've said before, he's my doof.
And the title... I told him that once, and I think I hurt his feelings, but it was just a little heads up, I'm so scared it's not even funny. How could I not be though?

Ugh i HATE people who have to thrill-seek just to prove they can and impress people like that. BLAH ICK and so forth. Its attention seeking and I dislike that in a person. Grow up peopleeeee.
Anywho. Telling him you could probably never love him does sound a bit harsh but I suppose its best to know in advance! I understand that you're scared. Humm. I wish I had some half decent advice, lol.
