Somewhere in a dream I found you
I have never been the same
You were everything I needed
longed for and desired
In the confines of my dreams
I have searched for you
trying to find you again
I hear you call to me in the
night to come to you
When I close my eyes
You become so vivid and real
I reach for you
but can’t touch you
Yet I feel your touch
soft and gentle
We spend the night dancing
on the moon,
Tripping across the sky
from star to star
I love being in your arms
just gliding across the galaxies
As night turns to day
I see you fading
Starting to drift away from me
As I call for you to please stay
I hear your voice faintly saying
“I will find you again,
Somewhere in a dream”

Brilliant! This is the image it brings to me...
Lost in the dreams that span the cosmos,
two sway to the rythmic music
created by the twinkling stars.
locked in an eternal embrace
while the heavens are lit by the
illumination of a billion candles.
mournfully separated at dawn,
by the light of the rising sun.
Not too sure where this came from, but when the muse speaks, I have to listen or she'll whack me upside the head
