Stolen moments in the coolness of the dark
The last of the light closing quietly behind me
A flutter of a breeze lifting my hair off my shoulders
As my feet leave moonlight trails through the dew
A pale white glow over every leaf of the tree
Guarding the solitude of the evening
The serenade of night's music
Whispering quietly in my ears
A search for the star overhead
My eyes sweeping over the sea of lights
Night wishes quietly spoken on the childhood beliefs of starshine
I turn back toward the reality of the light as the door once again opens...
And I breathe.

the first poem I saw that's after Feb.
ahh!! so this is where you begin those amazing endings! wonderfully written poet ...very nice description..and I sigh as I read those lines..just lovely ...and here I thought it would be a scary write (the title kinda led me down another path
) but I like the nature-ish quality of this..especially this line:
A search for the star overhead
love that very much
oh and these too
A flutter of a breeze lifting my hair off my shoulders
As my feet leave moonlight trails through the dew
wonderfully written

i love the stars, and looking for falling ones. im a hopeless romantic sometimes... i could take walks forever in moonlight along a lake and watch the diamonds glimmer like lightning bugs, or at the ocean in the sunset as it seems like the sun makes the water heat up in its orange light. stars, moon, clouds, wildflowers.. ok.... i'm also a rambler.

It's because I ramble too that I understand yours

That's my favorite time of night.. evening when the sky is lit up with stars. I'm away from any city lights and it looks like a celestial road map... it's gorgeous. I could just escape into it... sigh

Ethereal and elegant. I enjoy the softness of your imagery....delicate yet strong emotional imagery. Can I say, beautiful!

Sigh... I just love this! The sense of all these things combining to give a sense of peace and then being able to breath again...
Beautifully descriptive
