I'm Not Irish Day

I've never been to Ireland, of emerald green,
nor been with a man in a kilt, the under unseen.

I've not one Irish bone in this body of mine,
nor red hair and the gusto that the Irish define.

I've never tried to play in any bagpipe rehearse,
nor seen a leprechaun, pot of gold, or even a curse.

Still, I love corned beef, even some green beer,
and on March 17th to the tradition I adhere.

So even if you can't dance a jig just the right way,
have some fun and celebrate on St. Patrick's Day !
