Memories still held so dear, daggers now they are.
Do YOU know MY broken heart still hopes with all of its self to once again feel YOUR Love, its warmth, its light like the sun; My heart says YOU're THE ONE!

Great write. I know how a broken heart feels. I've felt broken many times for never taking a chance on love. And, the worst part is when I'm trying to get over a broken heart I only realize I like someone else when it's too late and they step out of my life as quickly as they step into it and then I experience the broken heart cycle all over again. I'm so sorry this happened in your life. Loss can be very painful, I know. I like to think there is hope though, even though nothing could ever really replace that loss, we can and do still go on.
