While I relax and
watch repeats on T.V
I sense someone listening,
watching silently over me.
As I glance up
to see who is there.
A shadow of a gentleman,
stands upon the stairs.
I look away, then glance once more,
there is no more to see,
only a child's picture on the wall,
bringing back special memories.
Shivers creep down my spine
that sends a chill to my bone.
I feel your presence yet again,
your here visiting my home.
It's a while since you seen me,
but you haven't gone away
I wonder why you visit me,
I don't know what to say.
Still you stand and look at me
just gazing from the stairs.
I'm not sure who you could be,
but I sense a fondness in the air.
The years have rolled by,
still you come to visit me.
I don't sense you are a friend
or foe or even a nobody.
Your here again, on the stairs,
staring down at me.
Your presence sensed, I smile
and say "Hello Grampy."

Awesome!
Ok that gave me goose bumps oh my goodness!
Is this really true?
When did you realize it was your "Grampy"?

Thank you, I'm glad that you liked this, sorry about the goosebumps, lol. Yes, it is true. When I explained to my parents the next day what I seen, my Mum told me - eventually. I've got used to it now, he still visits every so often.
Thank you for the applause, much appreciated.
