To wake on the morrow,
to be greeted by a morn from long ago.
That these 5 years gone by,
were but a dream.
To go back and change my deeds,
that others may not have suffered.
So that friendships be not betrayed,
to begin anew, without fear or doubt.
If only to wake on the morrow,
and start back from the beginning.

i see you took my advice ;P i like the result, too... it definitely portrays your feelings of regret and remorse, and i like how much of the wording has an "old school" feel to it. good write!
