Silent Heart

When I open my heart this is what I hear
A sound of my soul calling me there
Where there is no pain and no sorrow
No today to bother no tomorrow
All that seemed numb and lively and free
For the feeling of true freedom come to see
And hear the voice of my heart as it beckons
To show me my reasons of faith and of boundless love
To make me realize the truth of pleasures from above
Where there is no death no life and time to be in
All seems to be the one of all source from within
That which is the bestower of all truth and trust
That which is the sole reason of joys without lust...
Look in again it calls me for the brightening of this day
And live on forever with joys abundant to pray
The praise of my Lord my God the sound in my heart
Letting me realize the spirit of my thought

    This is so calm and peace-filled. You have a precious heart which evidently loves the Lord. A loving heart which heralds our Him, and takes the time to listen to His voice. There are times when I am completely silent, and hear His voice ring so clearly in my ears. You have penned a poem of hope that uplifts the Spirit. It is filled with faith, and inspiration. Simply Beautiful!
