Swan Lake - A Spirit Tale Of Transformation

Missing image

Little Swan flew through the Dreamtime by chance
Suddenly meeting a swirling Black Hole
Scared and with awe at this void she would glance
Wondering ‘bout this Black Hole’s sacred role

Dragonfly happened to come flying by
Swan-Princess stopped him to ask for the way
Pure curiosity - yet she was shy
What was the role that this Black Hole did play ?

“I am Illusion’s Great Guardian, you see ?
This is the door to a different plane
Consciousness waits for the one who is free
Yet, right to enter, you first have to gain !”

“How do I earn it ?”, asked Swan with some doubt
“You must surrender to Great Spirit’s Plan
Never to change what your future’s about
Don’t fight the current, just flow, if you can !”

Black little duckling agreed to the deal
Nothing to lose, yet a lot was to gain
And with much trust and a portion of zeal
Swan-Princess entered a different plane

Dragonfly started to spin Magic’s wheel
Breaking Illusion of limited lake
Boundaries shifted while whirlpool surreal
Swallowed up Swanee like furious snake

After some time, Lady Swan reappeared
White and long-necked, what a view to behold !
All of her doubts and her fears disappeared
Many great qualities still to unfold

These were the gifts, Swan received through her faith
Trusting the ways of the Great Spirit’s Plans
Now she was blessed with abundance and grace
Happily under the Rainbow to dance

    Dearest Sis,

Thank you for writing such a wonderfully sweet, interesting and beautiful poem for me. I love it. Even the background is stunning and so peaceful. I love the picture too posted on top. Is that one of your paintings? I am trying to go deeper and see if through this poem you have told me that I should not resist change but flow with the tide. Right? Such exquisite work can come only from the pen of a Genius and that is you!

    Thanks a trillion,
    Charishma

I am so happy you like your poem, dear chari ... since I got the medicine card of a swan for you yesterday, I thought that I should write you a poem based on the medicine of swan-spirit ... and since it is saraswati's power animal, I combined both ... the painting in the border is one I bought at exoticindia (a fantastic website) and offered it to jean-marc last christmas ... it's huge and absolutely stunning ... the one with the lotus-lake is also from the same site, but I don't own it ... only later I realized that you have changed your username and smiled because of the many lotus-flowers in the pic ...
you might be right about the deeper message in this poem, though I cannot really take credit for the meaning, since this is just the medicine of swan ... it's her who bestows her blessings on you ...
      much love,

      marion

Oooh!!! This is so delighting to my heart ((((((((HUGS))))) I am smiling since morning, since I looked at this poem and pic. When you initially told me the swan card came up for me, I smiled a broad smile, because, whenever I have lately been looking at poet mina nagi's comments on my poems, I look at the swan which is put as his pic/icon and I was lately strongly feeling the swan was making me feel very comforted, blessed and graceful, in a very protective divine way. So, I really felt very thankful to Goddess Saraswati when you told me the swan card came up This is even more comforting at a time when I was told in the past few days that astrologically, the planet Jupiter or Brahma is now in my 8th house and will remain so until October of this year. I am forbidden to take up any new lessons at this time and it made me so sad because I was all set to take up Bachelor of Education(BEd) and become a teacher in Pune, India. This has made me once again feel cheerful, though I have to wait till next Jan for the course.

Could you ask the medicine cards whether I should travel to Mumbai, India with dad(and mom too will travel if I do) in a day or two? Or, shall I wait for a month and then go. I am very confused regarding this...

          OWL

          dear chari,
I am not really used to consult the cards for a specific question, and mostly just ask for a general message of inspiration ... but since you asked, I did it, and the card that came up was OWL ...
now, maybe it already makes you smile ... and you already associate a number of signs and symbols to this answer ... I hope that you will be inspired to find the answer you are looking for through this totem-animal-guide ...
since this is the animal that sees very well in the dark , and is able to discern the hidden secrets and truths behind appearances ... I wrote a poem a few days ago for owl-spirit, called "owl-sonnet" ... maybe it could be of service to your dilemma ... this is what I wish you ...
          much love,

          mari
