(1) metamorphosis - tears - infertile

metamorphosis

scorned  caterpillar
from ashen coffin emerges
ardent flowers dance

~oOo~

tears

a last love letter
tortured losses written in
blood red drops of pain

~oOo~

infertile

empty womb aching
for children long desired
father has no seed

Liked these haiku too - I also wrote a haiku with the same title - metamorphosis a while ago. Nice to read these oldies, and see where our roots are. Enjoyed these poems, as I did your others. Just checking in to see how you are doing. Been a while since I dropped in.

Very lovely and full of meaning. I really liked all of these a lot, but 'tears' really touched me the most. You have a knack for writing haiku. I wish you a lot of luck in this contest.

excellent haiku. I tried to pick a favorite but just couldn't. I will say 'Infertile' has alot of power and the sadness aches.

    well done
