I've been getting a sense of your growing despair
from a scent I have sensed in the frigid cold air
and as I move on and it grows stronger
I worry if you could take it any longer
Humbly hold your breath and wait
for my legs to stretch and reach a gait
With your losses looming and reaching new heights
I fret to hold back as it begins to feel trite
I've been speeding on the road to catch you before
you go out of your mind and collapse to the floor
"I can't bear this much, I need your arms
to hold me up, an embrace, just keep me warm"
And as we stand their arm in arm, mind on mind
you grab me tighter and begin to cry
Your tears stain my shirt as you sob and howl
and I reply by standing there for hours and hours
There through the night, next morning and afternoon
I've held strong for so long, I have to go soon
but I can't let you go, I don't know what to do
I don't want you to fail, to break down and fall through

Pretty darn good!
Okay, so you've got a few spelling errors but other than that it rocks.
Glad to know you're still my Moo-Cow Joe.
Yours,
