Unlock your mind,open up your eyes to face understanding
Search for fear,for its hard to find.
It comes and goes like a flash of light
where does it reunite no one knows
Enter the enter-self,through the capital C,the door
labeled for courage,and curiosity. For their you may find it
buried in some mystical world with feelings both belligerent
and highly illiberal.
After you've shaped,and embedded all knowledge deeply into your
subconscious mind,then you may leave through the very small c
shaped door.
For their you may receive your bachelor of science degree
for you've just gained the knowledge...,of common sense. The key to Wisdom.

One might ask the question,what is common sense?. actually their is nothing common about it. It's an amazing ability which allows us to function,a gift from God just to remind us just how much God loves us.
but that's just my opinion. what's yours?

This is brilliant. I love how you have written this. The imagery here is great and you have put forward such a powerful message. Your poems are so thought provoking and I love that. I have never looked at "common sense" this way, and actually I quite like your view. Great work.

Thank you for your comments. (Smiles) I think everything we do in life has to do with the lord. Do you believe that in the begining,god created the heavens,and the Earth. Do you believe that God created man,and woman. Then if you do..It needs no further explination. I do somewhat agree that common-sense is a library of knowledge,but how one process that knowledge is another story. Forest Gump said. "Stupid is as stupid does." meaning to me,the blind leading the blind,or fools teaching fools. I give much respect to your understanding,and views on common-sense. most people think that common-sense is our natual abilities given at birth to process information, through the use of our five senses. However,the poetry gives reference to other perceptions. Perceptions most people take for granted. when we say unlock your mind,it means to search for an understanding of,and to the things we cannot. The beauty in this world,and the purpose of it is a wonderful thing. can we not just explore it's purpose. Their's a beast in the beauty,and a beauty in the beast....let's explore them both before we judge them all.
