Good Luck and God Bless!

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!

Oh that stupid old dog, what a fool,
I told him that he wouldn't fit in there.
His head is smaller than his big fat butt,
and what's worse is that he doesn't even live here.

I think he's after that sexy mutt again,
she's always teasing and giving him that look.
I don't think she ever intended to give him a chance,
that dog is my best friend, I can read him like a book.

If only he used his head more often,
he wouldn't be in this mess.
I wish there was something I could do,
all I can say is good luck and God bless!

Author notes

This poem is written from the cat's point of view as she walks away, knowing there is nothing that she can do to help her friend.
