Adorning stitch

Across horizon’s quilted cloth
are colors true; yet subsequent.
They blend as one as time goes by
and fade beyond the stitch's end.
Until the needle pierces through
another wad of cotton; damp---
then ribbons from below are seen
across horizon’s quilted cloth.

Where did this one cam from? I am not used to see this kind of poetry on your site. It's funny and great painted with words and I agree with Joe because I know you as a great painter. Very vivid and descriptive:
    ~
they blend as one as time goes by
and fade beyond the stitch's end,

    SENSATIONAL

It is short, but overall, great. U decided to write on a topic nobody talks about. Keep it up!

I love the use of the word subsequent here. It speaks of the seperation of the colors, at first and then how they blend "as time goes by".
A beautiful written and painted poem.
    good luck in the contest.

this is a perfect mix between those arts you so excell in – writing and painting. i know you “saw” this image before writing it down, now that it is written down it is time to paint it with real brushes and real paint on a real canvas. and then allow the biggest Artist copy it to His skies. so much color in so few lines of art

The beautiful and captivating imagery in this was lovely.
It gave me an image of planes cutting across the colourful sky, through the clouds.
    Thanks for entering.
