Like a flower
Slowly wilting with the world
I stand
And watch you walk away with her
Just another dreamer
Following her dreams
Another lover
Her heart torn at the seams
Another fool
Who doesn't know what love means
Slowly
My petals begin to fall
And my heart
Wilts away
My world turned black
With shades of grey
A flower
Who will not see another day

The imagery was powerful
YOu wrote this wonderfully!
Loved all the imagery and tender connections to the
image of the flower.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, touched our soul's
delicately!

Ohh. My gosh that is so sad, but yet so amazing. I loved this poem so much. I love how you relate your self to a flower!

Wow. This one took me by surprise. It's really good. It flows so well. It also has a strong message, which you get across rather well. Keep them coming.
