I want a man who calls me Angel
A man who holds me when I cry
A man who loves me when I’m fallen
Who worships me when I fly.
I want a man who’s not too proud
To admit when he is wrong
A man who doesn’t think he’s weak
Just because I’m strong.
I want a man who stands behind me
(And I mean that literally)
A man who wraps me in his arms
And whispers, he loves me.
I want a man who shows me passion
This is important -I’ll confess-
But, I don’t expect, perfection.
I want a man! No more… No less!

This is a cute poem. I love the ending. I think most women have been there and can relate, me included. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you continue to write and keep up the good work.
Love forever,

I love the rhyme and rhythm of this one. It reads so easily. I love the last two lines in the second verse. That's such a powerful statement and one all women want from a man. Thanks for this wonderful poem. Good luck in the contest.
