five short months are all you've known

A whole new place for you to roam

Yes leaving you there I'm fit to burst
but the vet needs to see you first
and we need to have a house check too
all this hassle just for you!

It won't be long now, just five more days
and until then I'll dream of your gaze
and buy lots of toys for you to chase
before we get you from the cat rescue place!
