The Wonder Of You

Missing image

Breath of Heaven
Like fresh fragrance after the rain
Quenching my thirst
Her loyal love floods my heart's needs
Through compassion

I hear soft strings
As if an orchestra played
For love only
Nourishing silent lullabies
With gentle grace

Light poetry
Verses on the sheets of my soul
For all to read
So her eyes can behold my words
Blue as oceans

Devotion's tongue
Speaks crystal clear into night skies
Of Unity
Between the lines of life and death
Our love smiles

Author notes

Thanks for reading me, much love, Timothy ~

    Lover-ly

Very sweet and romantic. The love is just oozing all over the place with this one. "quenching [your] thirst" with her love sound so pure and the kind of feeling we want to, long to, get from that person we pour our heart to. I love the feeling of vulnerability in this piece, but she seems as though leaving yourself open is very much worth it.

    Great emotional write!!

Timothy -- your poetry is inspiring ...

and compassionate. And as always, this poem told the reader so much about the soul of the writer: his unconditional love for those reading both his soul and his gentle words, which reflect his love for God.

Thank you for remembering me, too, and for including me in your world. Pen on, Poet!

    Love
    Myra
