Just like the rain,
I fall again and again for you.
Steadily thumping on the ground,
My feet don’t go fast enough.
The memories are still there.
They always will be.
Nothing else seems to matter anymore.
The tears come down,
Like a broken dam.
Nothing there to stop them,
Now you’re gone.
Lying on the cold, hard ground,
Wishing you were there.
Trusting you, not wanting to believe it.
You can’t be gone,
But somehow you really are.
Killing me…
Running, running, running…
Screaming till my lungs give out…
Crying until I can’t breathe…
Can you see?
I’m dying without you.
Every day I think of you.
Your perfect face is in my dreams,
In my nightmares…
Thunder rolls deep in my throat.
Lightning flashes in eyes full of pain.
Lost in the forest,
Wet and cold and lonely.
Reaching out for your hand…
Please don’t leave me again…
I really need you more than you know.
Don’t make me do this anymore…

I like the way you have used effects of weather ie thunder rain etc as a imagery devise it really drew the reader in enabling them to relate with these emaotions well done and good luck in my contest
