Turtle Sonnet (Acrostic Sonnet)

Missing image

L ast night I had a fascinating dream
O f Lady Turtle entering my heart
U ndoing all the pain that I have seen
M y Mother-Goddess knows this Sacred Art

I saw her shield of strong protection rise
A nd ground me firmly on this precious Earth
L ove’s River of Compassion, deep and wise
O h Source of Joy, I contemplate your worth

U pon your shoulders does the World repose
M y Mother, full of patience, full of Grace
I honor this Blessed Life that once I chose
A Path transcending laws of Time and Space

M ay great abundance be bestowed on all
A nd many souls in dream receive your Call

    Oh my dear sister,

You have chosen the tender Turtle for this write. The Turtle is one of my totems/guides and she is a grand one too. Her beauty and grace are seen as she slips past through time and space like no other. Your words dance upon this page paying sweet homage to this wondrous creature. Thank you for entering and good luck!

    Blessings
    Bel
