A man of peace walked cross the plains
A feather in his hair
A herd of mustangs ran to him
Their medicine to share
Black Stallion told our peaceful man
That he came from the Void
Where Answer to all questions dwells
And Light can be enjoyed
When Yellow Stallion saw our man
He offered him a ride
To where illumination lives
Where love and bliss reside
Red Stallion happily approached
Great humour was his way
He taught him to enrich his path
With joyful gift of play
White Stallion now came into sight
His beauty was sublime
A final lesson he bestowed
And blessed this man divine
He told him about harmony
Within his medicine
His balanced shield with strength to hold
For wholeness to be seen
True power must not be abused
For wisdom to appear
Through silence and humility
We have to persevere

thank you so very much for the gold trophy, countrybabe ! this is such a precious gift for me ... last night, before I saw how the contest ended, I dreamt of being in the forest, and a white horse came to me ... I sat on his back and told him to ride slowly, since I don't know how to ride horses ... he smiled and was very gently ... he told me that he was my horse wow ... now I have a dream-spirit-horse !!!
this is incredible ... I felt that the horse spirit infused me with its energy ...
I can understand you now that you are so fond of horses ...
that has been a double gift for me ...
without this contest, I probably would have never written this poem ... and although my intention was to write it for you, it ended up returning the gift to me ...
