tu me manques

Missing image
Heart hears your whisper
drifting into chasms
where the bear now walks.

Strength listens to ears
for remembered touch
and I know
your memory lingers.

Lips hold finger trace
before the moist
of lover's kiss
engulfs the spark of passion.

Where clouds rumble
and part,
polar breath inhales your spirit
and yet ...

a part of me is missing
and that part is you.

I am paled by the power of emotions felt while reading this sad and yet most sensual piece. I was left breathless by the lover's kiss which engulfed sparks of passion. Then I became overwrought with a lilting sadness at the thought of losing it. Your works take me to such heights every time I read one of them. You truly are the MAESTRO and this masterpiece is another example of that. Congratulations on the well deserved gold and best wishes in the next contest. Thank you for sharing your God given gift with all of us. I am left humbled again. Love you my friend, Joyce

I hope my comment isn't blank and send you the points thankful for a touching theme

writer who can be terse but give verse

I feel oneself maimed as losing a hand, with the phantom sensation wanting to come out of numb hibernation almost to use the love I saw in first stanza... and there could be such homeostasis.

There's a void but recognition and it isn't all called or recalled for lack.

Exhaling can almost seem evaporating without the pressing on, as some would say the center for endurance. But reception can be to how big the gift is in steps, however after crisis of ground as there's lingering more than "polar breath inhales your spirit" but time as that which enivened souls.

I can hardly sit in my chair with this so as to really say anything but I'm glad you offered it for more reading.

    them words can reach...

Beautifully penned, Pamela...Carol (shewolfnative) is one of my very dearest Friends, my Sister of the Soul...I can easily see why she gave you the gold, knowing her as I do...& she has impeccable taste, as well as an inherent sense of what's Truth in writing...She obviously found it here, within your words...Well done, Lady... I know; I got one from her a time or two...it was more thrilling than anything else. I felt like my work had been honored, as well as understood. I understand the tears, too.

    simply beautifully penned

This is a beautiful piece of literature that left me in tears as I felt through every inch of my soul and heart the emotions and the gripping value of this beautiful piece.

On a little side note : Your title has a little mistake, the word ``manqué`` is mispelled - it should be ``manques``

Otherwise you have stroked a masterpiece worthy for the highest honours!

'a part of me is missing
and that part is you.'...actually I like many lines in this, but I think the ending is so important...and yours is great!

      going nowhere

Thank you so much. The last lines are the meaning of the French title, so yes, they are so important as they are the core of the entire verse. Thank you so much. Your words mean more than you know... ~Pamela
