A lone tear falls down my tanned cheek.
but it is no normal tear,
for it holds many things.
shattered dreams, broken hope...
utter lonliness, sheer terror...
scary thoughts, bad dreams, a dying soul
but...
also love.
and love outrules it all.
Isn't it funny,
how one good memory can save a life?
as I collect pieces of the fallen stars
beneath the broken midnight sky,
that one tear spills down my cheek
and under my chin.
That happy tear.
