In summer heat where rivers are depleted of all nutrients,
And is a sin, if one tear is shed.
The plants grow weak with exhaustion, shriveling: one by one.
Under the reign of a implacable monster.
Farther taken into the hallow woods, once where life grew;
Shaken by the hopes of fear, and captured by the fear of hope.
All the leaves had fallen, into the entrapment of thyself.
The static becomes louder. The devil in hiding, lingers near.
Author notes
not done because i want to go get shitfaced.
the devil has many disguises...look closer.
