the leaves that have jumped to their untimely end
swish and crunch under my sneakers.
a subtle, stinging wind nips playfully at my ear.
hands shoved deep into pockets, to avoid the chill,
venture out to gently urge a vine clear of it's burdeness greens
that have turned orange and brown and red.
i walk on the sidewalk with one foot in the gutter
to kick at the fashion mother nature has discarded for the season.
the scent of pumpkin fills my nose
as does the smell of crisp, clean air and
i have to sneeze from all the wonder that collects in my nostrils.
they say that now everything is dying
but i only see the beauty of earth changing
for we must all fall into a depression before we are able to spring once more
into life.
Please tell me what you think

there were a few lines that bothered me... i felt they were kind of odd compaired to the rest for instance:
"i have to sneeze from all the wonder that collects in my nostrils."
i mean i get what you are saying but it somehow messed up the flow of this piece i dont know could be just my opinion though... overal i liked it... i like season poems...
