This was just the way of things-
The way the leaves limped against the wind,
Which wound itself like disease against the blue drink of sky;
And slowly, I seeped down into the sickly yellows and greens,
Which gradually bled from beneath beds of snow;
soft as bare shoulders, Turned cold, yet-
conciously desireable in the deepening colors of midnight,
Marching morbid into your mind,
which melts into mists of sleep and sometimes-
You don’t find a reason to wake up.

An experiment, really. A different kind of form, at least... for me.

The imagery was so vivid in this piece. It's refreshing to read some new descriptions, because they do release a spark in the mind. And that's what I am looking for in this contest. Thanks for entering.

Glad you liked it. I'm kinda in a rant mood right now, so it might not make sense, but it felt good to write. I have the flu though, so I have an excuse, lol.

it was fairly coherent, even moreso given the conditions under which it was written. good luck.

Glad to hear it. But even if it wasn't coherent, it felt like a relief to get something out. I have been having a hectic life lately, and it's good to just sit down and vent sometimes, even if what your saying is something only you understand. But I'm sure that everyone feels that way once in awhile. Missed talkin' to ya, but you probably could have used the break.
