Lampshade flutters like a butterfly

Cheeseplants
dance to Oldfield's bells~
a deck of cards
(spilt cheese XLs);
a crocus lives
in my minds eye,
lampshade flutters
like a butterfly.

Carpet flows in
coloured streams~
I'm trapped in
psychedelic dreams;
curtains twitch
then breathe a sigh,
lampshade flutters
like a butterfly.

Catfish monster
strums guitar~
I sit and wonder
who you are;
I'm drenched in sweat
my mouth's run dry,
lampshade flutters
like a butterfly.

    THis has a very salvidor Dahli feel to it. Discombobulated images floating past, and tripping on eachother. Great write, I agree with the comments below, a great piece. My fav bit was:

    Catfish monster
    strums guitar~
    I sit and wonder
    who you are;
    I'm drenched in sweat
    my mouth's run dry,
    lampshade flutters
    like a butterfly.

    Thanks.

    Quite the surrealistic magic carpet ride. Tripping with vitamin A are we. I think I recognize this landscape. Excuse me while I flashback for a moment.
    Only thing missing was the breathing walls and undulating table tops. Oh, and the perma-grin. Excellent capture of the experience and well done.

    Not only psychedelic, but also surreal, Alex. Great images.
