Not A Bad Man

He sits at home in the corner of his room
Looks around at what he's been going through
He thinks of times when life was all that he had
Then looks in the mirror and wonders what went so bad
This life he lives ins't the best one around
He's got many friends that he wished he was like


He's not a bad man
Just not the luckest one around
He tells his self I'll be alright alone
All he wants is someone to help him through
Give him the hope to make it through

Looking down at the pictures on his lap
He remembers all the times that life wasn't bad
All the things he's done and what went right
He'd give it all to take some of it back
He tells his self it's time to move on
Keep living his life and not worry about the wrong

He decides that it's time to get a grip on things
To move along and take life as it comes
He goes out to the store one night
Runs into a woman
And says I'm sorry are you alright
She says I'm fine my name is Susie
How are you

He says I'm fine mama how are you
They exchange numbers and all is well
He calls her up and they fall in love
He's no longer alone
Everything changed and he's the happiest man around
His life has changed

He tells his self I'm glad it's her I found
All he needed was someone to help him though
Now hes got her
And hes life he'll make it through
