Just randomly zipping through names. I like real names or what appear to be real names, although mine is... Sorry!

I hear every sound written, and because you're being subliminal, I can even hear the instruments you left out. I love the finale!

    "melodic perfection
    conducts a musical extravaganza"

    Nice!

I hear the splendor of music in your words. The art of instruments making melody is one that I am a true fan of. You brought a symphony into play with this poem poet. Brilliant! I wish you the greatest rapsody from this work!

This is a great piece. Music is the epitome of life.

    Revision pointers:
L3 - "flutists" is actually "flautist" There's a common misconception between the two.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, but when life is really rough, classical makes me feel better than almost anything. I think you've captured well the essence of an orchestra. It amazes me when a writer can do something like that in just a few lines, especially when you need to incorporate so many elements to describe a single (yet complex) "thing" such as an orchestra. Very nice work.

Good luck to you in the contest and best wishes!

I can hear the music in this poem!

This is beautifully written and the alliteration you've incorporated into this piece works very well.

I love the beating line! Stunning!

    Delightful!

Fantastic, you've carefully chosen your words so that your poem is music. I don't really like classical music but last night I watched Alanis Morissette in youtube with an orchestra backing her and it blew me away! This is a brilliant ode to the orchestra!
