Tapestry of Thought

Tapestry of Thought

Droplets of thought
Drip from the artist’s brush
Onto the canvas of creation.
Hues blend in with
Mixtures of imagination,
Fusing new colors
And sculpted into words
Placed in the kiln of genesis
To bask in the blaze
Of one’s soul.

There's a school of metaphysical thought that proposes the notion that thought is a form of fire energy. Newton says for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. You excellent symbolic/metaphorical "kiln of genesis" is right in harmony with the idea.

Ever wonder what our fascination with fire is all about? Why can sittin' round the campfire watching the embers glow elicit such calm in our minds. Is it simply that opposites attract?

Very good short piece there, tina.

(by the way, thanx again for your favor last week--gazzelle)

mystysaint was definitely on to a great idea in recommendeding you get credit for your own work in return for you making sure others get credit for theirs. I have thouroughly enjoyed this trip that she took us on through your words. I thought this was actually a great ending to the list of poems because I saw the image of all your words swirled togther in an array of colors to create a beautiful masterpiece painting of your thoughts. Thank-you for all that you do!

A beautiful rainbow image I'm left with after reading this one. And it is one artist who created it. You do so much for the poets around this site And in return ...well, you do more. Beautiful writing, Tina.

I am an artist... and by that I mean, I sketch and paint.. as well. You have captured such an intense visual with this, and one I can completely embrace.. both in the formation of words, poetry ...writing, and the creations that bleed from the mind in the form of visual art... Excellent work, I am glad I read this.. I will read it many times I think... thank you for reading my work.
