Breath of death steal away my life
A darkened mist take over my night
Summers gone and winter is here
Death defy’s a glorious cheer
Wandering in a hazy dream
Things are never quite what they seem
You think you’re gone but its all in vain
For the breath of death takes away your pain
Touch of ice and words of sleep
As into my world his mist will creep
Life was good and this is true
But there is something I have to do…
Take the hand of death in mine
Leave the world of light and time
Enter the fog of death devine
Leaving the land of sweet sunshine
The veil of death steal away my soul
His words are silent and his hands are cold
The path of mist to the other side
And on the breath of death I ride
I fear ye not for ye are my friend
At this my final and my end
I thank the lord for you he send
Through the veil death is my friend

I thought this was a good take on the photo and that the rhyming succeeds. Thank you for this entry which is very soft and melancholy.
